At the University of Puerto Rico in Bayamón, in the CS 3rd year there are two classes in which the student gets to develop a system with other classmates. These classes are:

• Analysis & Design of Information Systems [August 2008 - December 2008]
• Project Implementation [January 2009 - May 2010]

     Our project was an internet café management system called ICS. Since the client we had used Windows operating system on the business' computers, we decided to program our sistem using Visual Basic and a SQL Server database. We had only one semester to implement the system with the requirements defined in our proposal, so it is very customized to the client we had.
     I believe this project could be improved a lot more if there were have been more time. Perhaps I'll improve it in the near future or, if not, I'll hand it over to somone who has the time and is willing to take it to the next level.
    Since it was a project group, I did some of this. What I did mainly was:

• input on the analysis and design phase
• the chat between the administrator and client (could be improved)
• system manual
• user manual
